Feng Shui and a Happy Home

Every woman and every man that I have ever met wants a happy home!!

One way of ensuring a harmonious home life is through the ancient Eastern belief of Feng Shui.

Feng Shui is all about good design so it is ideal to have your Feng Shui consultant present at the conceptual stage of your home drawings. Good Feng Shui allows a natural flow of auspicious Chi (the essence of life or energy of life) throughout the home.

As part of this process and if you’re unable, due to the orientation of your block, to get everything in the ‘right’ place, for a happy home it’s critical to have, at the very least, a well-placed front door and an appropriately located bedroom. Without these two in the correct positions it is a challenge for your much desisred ‘happy home’ to be easily manifested.

The next step is to ensure that those areas are treated and suitably decorated so that not only do they reflect good Feng Shui principles but also your own personal style.

So, when decorating these rooms use the five elements of Feng Shui; water, wood, fire, earth and metal to enhance the positive energies awaiting within but also, bring your own personal style and in particular the Feng Shui elements that are positive to you. All of us have two or three of these Feng Shui elements that bring more balance into our lives – so use them to your advantage.
